In addition to our local resources we currently import approximately 1,000 containers annually of packaging products from Asia to Australia and New Zealand for the supply into all our market sectors.
Since 1990, Elldex has provided a range of packaging solutions and have grown into a leading Australasian packaging supplier.
Elldex was originally established as a privately owned New Zealand company, however in February 2005, Elldex was formally acquired by Hellaby Holdings Ltd., a publicly listed company in New Zealand, as part of its diversified business investment portfolio. In mid 2007 further acquisitions of PPL Corporation and Chequer Packaging Limited has formed the Elldex Packaging Group.
At the end of May 2015, Elldex has been acquired by Coveris, who is the sixth largest global plastic packaging company in the world.
